اثر هشت هفته برنامه اسپارک بر سطح مالون دآلدهید و عامل نروتروفیک مشتق از مغز در پسران دارای نشانگان داون

چکیده

زمینه و هدف: یکی از اصلی­ترین مشکلات افراد دارای نشانگان داون، اختلالات شناختی همراه با مشکلاتی در سیستم عصبی است. این اختلالات تا حدی به دلیل افزایش استرس اکسایشی و کاهش سطح عامل نروتروفیک مشتق از مغز (BDNF) در این افراد است. فعالیت منظم ورزشی با شدت متوسط می تواند در کاهش استرس اکسایشی و بهبود سطح BDNF مؤثر باشد، اما اثر فعالیت ورزشی بر شاخص های استرس اکسایشی و BDNF در افراد دارای نشانگان داون به درستی مشخص نیست. مطالعه حاضر با هدف بررسی اثر هشت هفته تمرینات اسپارک بر سطوح مالون دآلدهید (MDA) و BDNF نوجوانان مبتلا به نشانگان داون انجام شد.
مواد و روش‌ها: در این مطالعه نیمه تجربی، تعداد 02 نوجوان پسر مبتلا به نشانگان داون با دامنه سنی 9 - 41 سال و ضریب هوشی 05 تا 07 به طور تصادفی در دو گروه کنترل (01 نفر) و تمرین (01 نفر) قرار گرفتند. شرکت کنندگان گروه تمرین به مدت هشت هفته، سه جلسه در هفته و هر جلسه 45 دقیقه به تمرینات منتخب اسپارک پرداختند. نمونه گیری خونی قبل از شروع تمرینات و 84 ساعت پس از آخرین جلسه تمرینی به صورت ناشتا برای اندازه گیری سطوح FNDB و ADM گرفته شد.
نتایج: نتایج نشان داد غلظت ADM در گروه تمرین به طور معنی داری نسبت به گروه کنترل کاهش یافته است (200/0 = P). همچنین مشاهده شد پس از هشت هفته برنامه اسپارک، سطح BDNF در گروه تمرین نسبت به گروه کنترل به طور معنی داری افزایش پیدا کرده است (20/0 = P). ارتباط معکوس و غیر معنی داری بین تغییرات ADM و FNDB پس از اعمال برنامه اسپارک مشاهده شد  (18/0- = r و 90/0 = P).
نتیجه‌گیری: به طور کلی می توان نتیجه گرفت برنامه اسپارک می تواند موجب بهبود سطح MDA و BDNF در پسران مبتلا به نشانگان داون شود. از این رو، انجام این نوع تمرینات برای بهبود استرس اکسایشی در نوجوانان مبتلا به نشانگان داون پیشنهاد می شود.

Background & Purpose: One of the main problems of Down syndrome is cognitive impairment with problems in the nervous system. These problems partly are due to oxidative stress increases and reduce of brain-derived neurotrophic hormone (BDNF) in these people. Regular exercise with moderate intensity is effective in reduces of oxidative stress and improves BDNF levels; however, the effect of exercise on oxidative stress indexes and BDNF in people with Down syndrome is not well known. The present study was done to examine the effect of eight weeks spark training on malondialdehyde (MDA) and BDNF in boys with Down syndrome.
Methodology: In this quasi study, twenty boys with Down syndrome (aged 9-14 years old) and IQs 50 to 70, were randomly divided into control group (n = 10) or training group (n = 10). Participants in the training group were performed a selected SPARK program 3 sessions of 45 minutes per week for 8 weeks. Fasting blood Sample was taken before the intervention and 48h after last session of training.
Results: The results demonstrated that MDA concentration reduced significantly in the training group compare to the control group (P=0.002). Moreover, BDNF level was increased after eight weeks of SPARK program compare to the control group (P=0.02). No significant relationship was observed between changes of BDNF and MDA after the intervention (r= ‒ 0.18, P= 0.9).
Conclusion: Generally, we can conclude that SPARK program caused an increase BDNF level and reduce MDA in boys with Down syndrome. Thus, performing of this program is introduced to improve oxidative stress in adolescents with Down syndrome.
