تأثیر 8 هفته تمرینات یوگا بر شاخص‌های سردرد میگرنی، نیتریک اکساید و سروتونین سرمی در زنان مبتلا به میگرن

چکیده

سابقه و هدف: میگرن به‌عنوان یکی از شایع‌ترین انواع سردرد با شیوع بالا تأثیرات قابل‌توجهی بر شرایط زندگی افراد می‌گذارد. این مطالعه با هدف بررسی تأثیر 8 هفته تمرینات یوگا بر شاخص­های سردرد میگرنی، نیتریک اکساید و سروتونین سرمی در زنان مبتلا به میگرن انجام شد. مواد و روشها: در این مطالعه نیمه تجربی 30 بیمار زن مبتلا به میگرن (سن: 2/3±36 سال) به‌صورت تصادفی در دو گروه تجربی (15=n) و کنترل (15=n) قرار گرفتند. بیماران در گروه تجربی به مدت (3 روز در هفته/هر جلسه 60 دقیقه) به مدت 8 هفته تمرینات یوگا (آساناها، پرایامانا، شاواسانا و کششی) را زیر نظر مربی انجام دادند. اندازه‌گیری شاخص‌ها شامل فراوانی سردرد، مدت و شدت میگرن (توسط پرسشنامه روزنگار سردرد) و کیفیت زندگی (توسط پرسشنامه 6- (HIT)) در قبل از شروع دوره­ی تمرینی و پس از اتمام دوره­ی تمرینی و شاخص­های خونی قبل از شروع پروتکل و چهار روز پس از اتمام پروتکل تمرینی صورت گرفت. به‌منظور ارزیابی تغییرات درون‌گروهی از آزمون تی وابسته و برای ارزیابی تغییرات بین­گروه‌ها از آزمون تحلیل کواریانس استفاده شد. کلیه آزمون‌ها در سطح معناداری (05/0>P) مورد بررسی قرار گرفت. یافته‌ها: هشت هفته تمرینات یوگا باعث کاهش معنادار شدت سردرد با (درصد تغییرات 44/31) (002/0=P)، کاهش تعداد سردرد (درصد تغییرات 93/44) (006/0=P)، کاهش طول مدت سردرد (درصد تغییرات 94/29) (041/0=P) و افزایش بهبود کیفیت زندگی (درصد تغییرات 21/16) (001/0=P) و نیتریک اکساید سرمی (درصد تغییرات 65/28) (015/0=P) در گروه تجربی در مقایسه با گروه کنترل ­شد اما در میزان سروتونین در مقایسه با گروه کنترل تغییر معناداری مشاهده نشد (درصد تغییرات 12/8) (132/0=P). نتیجه گیری: به­نظر می­رسد که هشت هفته تمرینات یوگا وینیاسا، به­عنوان یک روش مکمل مربوط به سبک زندگی می­تواند اثر مثبتی بر بهبود علا‌ئم میگرن و افزایش کیفیت زندگی، در زنان مبتلا به میگرن داشته باشد.

چکیده [English]

Background and Purpose: Migraine as a one of the most common types of high frequency headaches has a significant impact on people's living conditions. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of 8-weeks of yoga exercises on migraine headache induces serum levels of serotonin and nitric oxide in women with migraine.
Methodology: In this quasi-experimental study, 30 female (age: 36±3.2 years) with migraine were randomly divided into experimental (n=15) and control groups (n=15). The experimental group performed yoga training for 8 weeks (5 days/60 min session). Indicators included frequency of headache, duration of migraine, pain intensity (by questionnaire) and quality of life (HIT-6) were measured at pretest and posttest and blood samples were taken 48 hours before and 4 days after the last secession of exercise program in fasting state. The ANCOVA test used to examine changes in between groups.
Results: Yoga exercise significantly reduced headache severity (P=0.002), number of headaches (P=0.006), headache duration (P=0.041) and increased quality of life (P=0.001) and nitric oxide levels in the experimental group compared to the control group significantly, but there was no significant change in serotonin levels (P≥0.05).
Conclusion: Eight weeks Vinyasa yoga exercises as a complementary method of life style appear to have a positive effect on improving migraine symptoms and enhancing quality of life in people with migraine.
