In this study, the role of mind process properties in basic motor abilities at junior high school students of Shahrekord was evaluated. 252 subjects (96 gifted and 156 normal students), were selected with random sampling method and tested by Basic Motor Ability Test (BMAT). Fischer and Independent sample t – Test were used for data analysis and it was found that gifted students were better in three tests ("marble threading", "balance" and "tapping") and normal students were better in two tests ( "flexibility" and "push up". In the other tests no significant difference was observed. In comparison of total tests, mean differences of scores, were not significant at α ≥ 0.05, however the gifted students were better. We can conclude from the result that in motor activities which involve high levels of mental processing, gifted and talented students have better performance; but at flexibility and strength activity that involve low levels of mental processing, normal students have better performance, because of active lifestyle and more daily activities. We can use many programs; in addition to sport school classes, for improve these basic motor abilities.
